Simone Fontecchio potrebbe fare nella prossima notte italiana il suo debutto in NBA. I suoi Utah Jazz, infatti, inizieranno la regular season 2022/2023 ospitando alla Vivint Smart Home Arena di Salt Lake City i Denver Nuggets. I Jazz vinsero la loro division nella passata stagione con un record di 48-34, mentre i Nuggets chiusero a 49-33 ma il dato da ricordare è che Utah chiuse 4-0 contro Denver nell'ultimo campionato. Utah Jazz inizia una stagione di ricostruzione: è vero che, come detto, la squadra vinse la division l'anno scorso, ma un'altra deludente uscita dai playoff ha portato a diversi cambi nel roster.
