Terza giornata di Premier League e i campioni in carica del Manchester City fanno visita al Newcastle. Guardiola è partito in maniera perfetta in campionato battendo 4-0 il Bournemouth e 2-0 il West Ham, due belle gare per dimenticare la sconfitta in Charity Shield con il Liverpool 3-1. I magpies, che nonostante la ricchissima proprietà araba hanno fatto acquisti mirati e non le follie che in tanti pronosticavano, sono a loro volta imbattuti dopo il 2-0 sul Nottingham e lo 0-0 con il Brighton. Pronostico tutto a favore del City che punta dritto al terzo titolo di fila, ma la squadra di casa rispetto alla scorsa stagione è molto migliorata e quindi non lascerà campo libero a De Bruyne e compagni.
