Ritorna la Coppa di Germania e il Bayern Monaco sfida l'Augusta, unica squadra capace di battere i bavaresi in stagione. Da quel giorno però i Campioni di Germania hanno messo il turbo battendo 4-0 il Leverkusen, 5-0 il Friburgo e poi 4-2 e 5-0 il Plzen, in mezzo c'è stato anche il pareggio 2-2 con il Borussia Dortmund. E' finito invece il periodo positivo dell'Augusta che aveva vinto tre gare di fila ma nelle ultime due ha perso con il Colonia e pareggiato con il Wolfsburg.
