Mourinho è ad un passo dal suo primo "titulo" come tecnico del Manchester United: in finale di Coppa di Lega Mister Triplete dovrà superare il Southampton e potrà alzare al cielo la sua prima coppa. Dopo aver superato l'Hull City, non senza qualche difficoltà di troppo, in semifinale, i Red Devils ora affrontano l'ultimo ostacolo. In semifinale, però, i Saints hanno già fatto una vittima eccellente, eliminando il Liverpool di Jurgen Klopp: i ragazzi di Puel sperano di riuscire nella doppietta e completare una cavalcata inattesa ma non per questo immeritata. Anzi. Vincere il trofeo a Wembley sarebbe qualcosa di storico e probabilmente di unico, un'occasione che Gabbiadini e compagni non hanno nessuna intenzione di lasciarsi sfuggire...
