Gent e Anderlecht si sfidano nella finale di Coppa del Belgio, ultimo atto della seconda competizione nazionale. La partita sarà sicuramente equilibrara, in campo scenderanno le due squadre che al momento occupano la terza e la quinta posizione del campionato separate da soli due punti. La strada del Gent verso la finale è stata questa: vittorie 2-0 e 3-1 con Lommel e Standard Liegi, poi in semifinale sconfitta 1-0 all'andata con il Bruges e vittoria 3-0 al ritorno. Per l'Anderlecht nessuna sconfitta ma qualche brivido come nel primo turno con il 4-3 sul Seraing, poi sono arrivati i successi 3-0 con il Kortrjik e 3-1 nel ritorno con l'Eupen con la prima gara chiusa sul 2-2. La finale è "secca" difficile dire chi riuscirà a spuntarla, mentre i precedenti tra le due squadre indicano che ci sarà molto equilibrio e probabilmente poco spettacolo.
