Diciamo che il sesto e settimo posto in classifica non possono accontentare due club ambiziosi come Tottenham e Manchester United. Nonostante gli Spurs siano riusciti a trattenere Harry Kane, e i Red Devils a riportare Cristiano Ronaldo a Old Trafford, l’inizio di questa stagione è stato a dir poco complicato. I punti chiave del pronostico Tottenham - Manchester United
- Parla da sola la sconfitta recente dei Red Devils nell’ultimo turno contro un implacabile Liverpool, che ad Old Trafford ha sommerso gli avversari con ben cinque reti (0-5 il risultato finale).
- Ma se perdere contro il Liverpool (seppur non così nettamente) ci può anche stare, due sole vittorie nelle ultime sette partite giocate non è assolutamente un trend da Manchester United.
- Ma non basta, perché in quattro di queste ultime sette, Cristiano Ronaldo e soci hanno chiuso a mani vuote: tre sono le sconfitte in campionato e una (con eliminazione) in Coppa di Lega.
- Dall’altra parte, il Tottenham è si reduce dalla qualificazione ai quarti di finale di Coppa di Lega (grazie alla vittoria per 0-1 sul campo del Burnley), ma nel recente passato le cose non erano andate altrettanto bene…
- Già, perché nello scorso week end gli Spurs si sono arresi per 1-0 al West Ham e in precedenza erano usciti sconfitti anche in Conference League per mano del non irresistibile Vitesse (1-0).
